London Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2026: Momentum, Debuts & Must-Weeks (2026)

London Fashion Week: A Comprehensive Guide to Fall/Winter 2026

London Fashion Week (LFW) is back with a bang! The highly anticipated event, which marks the start of the Fall/Winter 2026 season, is set to take over the city from today, with a packed schedule and a renewed sense of momentum. The British Fashion Council (BFC) is determined to rebuild the scale and international visibility of the event, and the results are impressive.

The expanded schedule features 90 designers and organizations, including 41 runway shows and 20 presentations, an 11% increase in brand presence year-on-year. The BFC has also waived fees to reduce barriers to entry and doubled its investment in its international guest program, aiming to bring international attention back to the British capital.

The wider ecosystem is also broadening, with a new designer showcase at 180 Strand featuring 11 designers who have previously taken part in the BFC's NewGen incubation program. The showcase aims to create stronger connections between emerging talent, press, and buyers.

Key Highlights:

  • Familiar names such as Erdem, Simone Rocha, and Richard Quinn remain fixtures, all showing on Sunday.
  • Several brands make their return to the schedule, including Joseph, which will show on Friday for the first time in almost a decade.
  • Emerging talent is central to London's identity, with newcomers such as minimalist womenswear label Selasi, women's tailoring brand Liberowe, and contemporary designer Yuhan Ao.
  • Indian luxury brand Raw Mango, known for its saris and lehengas, is also joining the schedule.

Controversy & Comment Hooks:

  • The BFC's decision to waive fees and double its investment in its international guest program has sparked debate about the event's accessibility and inclusivity.
  • Some may argue that the focus on international voices could overshadow emerging British talent. What do you think? Share your thoughts in the comments!

Beyond the Runway:

  • Evening programming spans dinners from JW Anderson, Labrum London, Di Petsa, and the BFC in partnership with the British Film Institute (ahead of the Baftas on Sunday).
  • Knwls, which showed in Milan last season, is hosting a pop-up for its community, while David Koma is hosting a cocktail event.

Quote of the Day:

"London has always shaped the cultural conversation. By bringing a wider and more influential range of international voices to the city, we’re ensuring that London Fashion Week’s global impact continues to grow both commercially and culturally." - Laura Weir, BFC CEO

London Fashion Week is set to be a spectacular event, and we can't wait to see what the city has in store. Stay tuned for more updates and be sure to share your thoughts in the comments!
