February 12, 2026
In a race decided by the slimmest of margins, Mikaël Kingsbury has captured the silver medal in men’s moguls at Milano Cortina 2026, marking his fourth Olympic podium.
Sitting as the second-to-last racer on the slope for the super final, Kingsbury posted 83.71 points and briefly held the top spot with one competitor remaining.
The final challenger was Australian skier Cooper Woods, who also earned 83.71 points. The gold went to Woods on a tiebreaker, thanks to a slightly higher turn score (48.4) compared with Kingsbury’s (47.7). Ikuma Horishima of Japan earned bronze with 83.44 points.
Kingsbury’s silver adds to a storied Olympic résumé that already includes gold at PyeongChang 2018, along with silvers from Sochi 2014 and Beijing 2022. The athlete widely regarded as the greatest in men’s moguls continues to extend his legacy on the Olympic stage.
